Henrik Luoma-Mielty family association was founded in Isokyrö in 1999. The association comes together every three years for a family gathering.

We have published six books which entail the lives and chapters of the Luoma-Mielty family. They are available in our shop. The family association researches new findings continually and writes interesting articles based on said findings.

Information on the family

The ancestors Henrik Anderson Mielty f. Luoma and Kaisa Anderson were wed on 29 June 1692 in Ilmajoki. They settled on a new farm in 1696 called Luoma in the village of Peräseinäjoki.

The eldest child, Tuomas, eventually became Luoma’s householder. One of the sons, Simo, moved to the Mielty house in Orismala, Isokyrö as he wed the former widow of Mielty. Henrik and Kaisa also moved to Isokyrö along with the children Kalle, Juho and Heikki. Read more about the descendants of Henrik and Kaisa here. Get to also know the ancestral houses here.
